Culture

At 5W, employees get the best of both worlds. Our company encourages an entrepreneurial culture, with an emphasis on teamwork and the greater good. We provide a work environment conducive to boosting an individual's ability to learn, grow and be his or her best. We also strive to give back to the community and enhance our employees' lives in a variety of areas.

5W has an energy that is palpable. It's innovative, it's creative; it's a place where you're involved and making things happen. Smart, resourceful, great people. That is 5WPR.

For starters, we keep summer hours, closing early every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, so employees can get a jumpstart on their weekend. 5W's annual Summer Party has the entire team hitting a local hot spot for conversing with colleagues, hanging out and, dare we say, dancing the night away. Summer at 5W also stirs up our annual Cocktail Competition, where 5W teams get together to create a stellar cocktail. After all, we've got to keep those creative juices flowing all year-round.

We certainly nailed this perk! We also have a barber come on site every Friday for the 5W gentleman, right in the comfort of our office.

Every month we offer "Broke Day Breakfast," where you can nosh on bagels and various spreads, and "Broke Day Lunch," in which employees sink their teeth into Chinese or Mexican foods or any number of multiple dining options we have within a two-block radius of our Park Avenue office.

December is holiday season, of course, and we add to the festivities via the 5W Ugly Holiday Sweater Party. Employees are encouraged to wear their ugliest holiday sweater to the office, whether glitter, pom-poms or light-ups, with prizes awarded to the three ugliest creations. The event is a sight to behold.
