Greg Menken serves in 5W’s Corporate division as Vice President, where he helps lead the group’s work across a broad range of industries, with a focus on corporate positioning, public affairs, issue advocacy and crisis management.
Prior to joining 5W, Greg gained a reputation for leading successful campaigns for clients involved in highly controversial projects and issues, including issue advocacy groups, energy companies and real estate developers. Greg won a Ragan’s PR Daily Media Relations Award for Best Issue Advocacy Campaign for his work on “Death with Dignity,” one of today’s most controversial health care issues.
Previously, Greg launched the New York Regional office of a nationally recognized issue advocacy organization, recruiting thousands of grassroots members and working closely with U.S. Senators, Congress members and other high-profile elected officials from around the country. Greg also worked as an aide at the New York City Council and as Executive Assistant to former Governor of the State of New York, George Pataki. Greg received his B.A. from Columbia College and earned his M.P.A. in non-profit management from New York University. Greg volunteers as a career counselor with Jewish Family Services, where he helps the unemployed find new, meaningful employment.
