Account Supervisor - Beauty - View

The Account Supervisor will be instrumental in taking complete ownership of accounts and implementing the campaigns that drive results. This is where the creative process takes over and the AS will be a leader in formulating media pitch concepts.

Duties:
  • Manage daily workflow of 10+ accounts while driving consistent media results; report status of accounts to Direct Supervisor.
  • Develop, review and approve agendas, press releases, pitches, recaps and other materials; approve activity reports, clipbooks and other internal documents.
  • Manage client expectations and assist clients in maximizing relationship with 5W.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influential members of the media in order to ensure placements.
  • Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall PR strategy.
  • Execute and advise on PR strategies and collaboratively develop strategic media plans.
  • Lead all client conference calls.
  • Attend client interviews and all client events.
  • Daily client interaction to update, report and discuss media relations.
  • Conduct media training sessions with clients and junior staff.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior-level staff on team issues, account workflow and general account issues; Manage daily intern responsibilities.
  • Participate in the development of materials for new business opportunities including timelines, proposals, business decks and case studies; assist in generating new business leads.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients.

  • Technical Skills & Qualifications:
  • B.S/B.A in Public Relations or related field

    Senior Account Executive - Corporate - View

    5W Public Relations, 2013 PR Agency of the Year, is looking to immediately hire a Senior Account Executive for our Corporate and Digital Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have worked previously at a PR agency in digital and music/entertainment categories. This Senior Account Executive will be an expert at pitching, and focus on managing several accounts.

    Senior level Account executive needed with strong contacts in the digital space with a focus on music, lifestyle and entertainment to manage and oversee the accounts in our Corporate Communications area. Day-to-day responsibilities will include pitching the media, account management, execution of corporate communications programs, managing client expectations and providing counsel. Should have experience managing accounts and/or projects in either internal or agency environments, demonstrate strong writing ability and have strong contacts with relevant media at national and industry trade levels.

  • Assist the group and all supervising account members in the development and maintenance of media lists.
  • Strong phone and pitching work.
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to client requests or needs.
  • Prepare and implement PR program components for clients, including media contacts, special event coordination, writing and/or distribution of press releases, program writing and research.
