Consultant Business Development - View

This is an exciting position for an experienced Business Development Consultant with a background in lead generation. This consultant will drive the lead generation strategy, development, and ongoing optimization in support of 5WPR, while providing lead generation strategy, planning and subsequent direction for lead generation programs and activities as part of overall agency marketing plans. This person works closely with an internal marketing department as well as the CEO and GM to identify discrete needs and challenges of the Public Relations agency market and the corresponding relevant lead generation opportunities and priorities.

Responsibilities:
  • In concert with overall agency market plans, develop comprehensive lead generation strategy
  • Proactively outreach to prospective leads to generate new business opportunities
  • Develop new business presentations and proposals
  • Design meeting strategies and relationship building tactics all in the effort to generate new clients at the agency
  • Measure and report effectiveness/KPIs across the conversion funnel and identify lead generation improvement opportunities
  • Identify and implement lead generation marketing innovation opportunities and include measurable rapid testing as part of all lead generation programs
  • Serve as cross-functional liaison, collaborating across the organization on all generation activities, from the introduction to the agency pitch to the close
  • Technical Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Development experience
  • Specific experience in the small business environment is desirable
  • Proven success in developing repeatable, scalable B2B lead generation programs with measurable results across the conversion funnel
