Account Coordinator

Entry-level position who will act as day-to-day support person on various Consumer accounts.

Responsibilities:

Assistant Account Executive

Daily point person on various client accounts.

Senior Account Executive

Senior position that will act as day-to-day point person on various client accounts.
The ideal candidate will have worked within the agency setting, is an expert at pitching, and can manage multiple accounts.

DUTIES:

  • Manage team workflow and take ownership of account work while driving consistent media results; report status of accounts to Direct Supervisor.
  • Write and edit media materials - press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies and backgrounders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influential members of the media in order to ensure placements.
  • Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall PR strategy.
  • Execute and advise on PR strategies and collaboratively develop strategic media plans.
  • Create and develop pro-active pitch ideas for clients based on their industry, current trends and various announcements.
  • Monitor media and seek out speaking opportunities for clients as "experts in their field", including responses to ProfNet and other media.

Account Supervisor will be instrumental in taking complete ownership of accounts and implementing the campaigns that drive results for various clients.

Account Director

The Account Director will be instrumental in managing and developing client programs, strategic planning, media and client relations. Serve as key liaison among client, account team and agency management. Will lead by example and will further develop their leadership skills and their understanding of the PR industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary contact to clients, continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource and counselor to clients.

Paid Social Associate

The Paid Social Associate at 5WPR will have a thorough understanding of the social landscape and how paid capabilities on each specific platform can enhance a client's business goals. They have a passion for all things social and are constantly learning about new innovations regarding current and emerging platforms and their paid advertising capabilities. Working in tandem with our social team, the Paid Social Associate will be the face of all things paid social to not only our clients but also social networks direct sales teams when necessary. The Paid Social Manager will also serve in an educational role of informing both clients and internal teams as to the nuances and innovations within the paid space. They will also craft all paid social campaigns from the ideation stage through to their completion.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement paid social campaigns (including budget proposals and management)
  • Place, test and continuously optimize client ad spends across networks
  • Exhibit understanding and ability to clearly discuss paid social fundamentals (Acronyms, Jargon, etc.)
  • Solicit recommendations to client and able to effectively execute and measure performance reports/insights
  • Work with Social Team to create advertising assets that meet client and platform goals
  • Lead phone and in-person presentations in a professional, energetic way, and pair storytelling with data results
  • Understand media types beyond paid social and understand how paid social fits into a larger digital/marketing strategy
  • Drive client growth through data-driven and qualitative recommendations
  • Social Content experience is a plus (managing social media properties, etc.)
  • Assist where needed in new business pitches
  • Manage Paid Media Vendor Relationships
  • Works with director to develop campaign strategies and is responsible for the execution of social campaigns

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years' experience in a role that includes media buying, including both SEO and social platforms. Agency experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Expert on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (Pinterest / Snapchat, a major plus)
  • Have basic Search PPC and digital display advertising
  • Have basic story-telling ability and ability to lead presentations for clients
  • Excellent writing skills with an attention to detail. Organized and diligent work ethic
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required
  • Ability to multitask and handle other duties as assigned
