Declèor & Carita Case Study
Declèor & Carita Paris, two luxurious French skincare lines owned by Shiseido, hired 5W Public Relations as their PR firm of record to raise awareness of the brand in affluent markets. Celebrity seeding, product at exclusive parties, aligning the brand with high profile events and launching new product collections are some of the major initiatives to date.

5WPR partnered Carita’s new Haute Beaute Cheveu hair care line with top celebrity hair stylist Ashley Javier. Ashley opened his famed New York Parlor to the media for the first time to exclusively launch the collection to top tier editors including Vogue Beauty Director Sarah Brown as well as O, The Oprah Magazine, InStyle, Marie Claire and Allure.

5W PR was also tasked with publicizing Decleor’s new Hydra Floral line via a launch event at The Loft Eleven in New York City. As their PR firm, we transformed the loft space into an oasis of natural relaxation with floral and fruit aromas that engulfed the space as well as a recreation of the Declèors essential oils distillery. The event and location truly portrayed the essence of Declèor and was the perfect venue and event to launch the new collection as well as highlight Declèors eco-friendly Madagascar initiative.

To further align the brand with a fashion and celebrity audience, 5WPR partnered both the Decleor and Carita brands with designers Reem Acra and Carmen Marc Valvo during fashion week and hosted Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz’s personal baby shower. In only six months, 5W Public Relations has successfully positioned Decleor as a must-have aromatherapy beauty brand and favorite among young and stylish celebrities and gained media exposure in top outlets, outlets such as Vogue, Lucky, Conde Nast Traveler, Redbook, Shape, People, InTouch, American Spa etc. We continue to conduct vital public relations work on behalf of the lines.
