HINT Water Case Study
HINT Water hired 5W Public Relations in 2007 to launch their product via a full media campaign. The brand's challenge was to break through in a crowded bottled water space and differentiating themselves to retailers and consumers.

In the past three years, 5WPR, as has been able to garner press across several mediums, including business outlets like CNBC, BusinessWeek, BrandWeek, Entrepreneur and INC, product placement in outlets like Prevention, Better Homes & Gardens, Women's Health, US Weekly and People, awards in magazines including SELF, Good Housekeeping and Men's Health and placements on hundreds of online outlets.

In partnership with a traditional media relations strategy, 5WPR launched HINT's "Moms Against Sugar Water Campaign" to engage consumers and increase followers on Facebook and Twitter. The program called for moms to write in on HINT's Facebook wall to explain why their child's school deserved cases of HINT Water. 5W was able to secure placements on dozens of popular health and parenting blogs promoting the contest and linking back to HINT's Facebook page. HINT ultimately gained thousands of new Facebook fans, and a slew of mainstream media coverage.
