Juju.com Case Study
In the summer of 2009, Juju.com approached 5WPR with the goal of expanding their brand awareness and credibility which would in return position them as a leading job search engine online. In a market surrounded by much larger players, 5W Public Relations was tasked with finding creative solutions to package the information that Juju.com had available to them in ways that would attract media outlets nationwide. From seasonal job search tips to tips for entry level job seeking hopefuls, this information eventually led to the monthly report branded as the Job Search Difficulty Index.

As monthly unemployment numbers are announced, 5WPR, as PR firm of record, works with Juju.com to release figures which ranked the top 50 metropolitan cities and states nationwide by their residents’ difficulty to find a job. These rankings were determined by comparing the number of unemployed people reported by the BLS to the millions of jobs aggregated online by Juju.com.

National print, radio and broadcast media soon began to recognize Juju.com as a leader in the job space as over 75 national outlets featured Juju.com in their business and unemployment coverage including CNNMoney.com, The Huffington Post, CNBC, MSN Money, About.com, NPR affiliates, Fox, CBS, NBC and ABC among numerous others.

Today, major media coverage continues to achieve the goals set out for Juju.com as a result of our targeted, strategic public relations efforts. They receive very regular top-tier media coverage, as traffic increases, and SEO rankings are rapidly improved.
