Predicto Case Study

In the Summer of 2008, Snackable Media approached 5WPR to expand its Predicto.com brand recognition (a top 1000 Quantcast site) and position the site as the source for ‘pop-culture intelligence’ where the American public voices its opinions on the latest in news, politics and entertainment. 5W Public Relations partnered with the Predicto team in order to develop creative story angles that coincided with Predicto’s polls and surveys, garnering top tier media placements in such leading entertainment outlets as TMZ, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter in the first few weeks of the campaign.

By utilizing our top media relationships, we work hand in hand to create targeted surveys which regularly appear in top-tier media. As a result of our Public Relations outreach for Predicto.com, We create surveys, and partner with media, and regularly appear in top-tier media. ABC NEWS described the site as one which: “Allows users to vote on the topics that are most important to them… it’s an exciting website, everybody likes to weigh in.” FOX-LA said the site was "An entertainment website that’s built around texting.”

In addition to traditional media outreach, we have assisted in the creation, and programming for a Predicto branded entertainment channel, PredictoTV. Created in an effort to bring the site’s predictions to life, 5WPR arranges interview opportunities at elite celebrity attended events in order to capture the opinions of today’s leading stars and athletes ranging from Kim Kardashian, LeBron James, Kathy Griffin, Andy Roddick, Suze Orman and Andy Garcia to coveted events such as Tribeca Film Festival, NBA Draft and New York Fashion Week. These exclusive interviews are aggressively and strategically serviced to the media in order to obtain increased media coverage.

Through the ongoing promotion of both the site and the entertainment channel, 5WPR has helped the company grow its brand while simultaneously providing an additional vehicle through which to interact directly with its customer base, which now boasts upwards to 2 million.
