Ronn Torossian is the Founder, President and CEO of New York-based 5W Public Relations. He has overseen the company's rapid growth and expansion to the Inc. 500 list, as well as provided counsel to hundreds of companies, including members of the Fortune 500, Inc. 500 and Forbes 400. His work spans global interests, high-profile individuals, regional businesses, government agencies and academic institutions - both on routine public relations matters and extremely sensitive issues.

Torossian was named to the Advertising Age "40 Under 40" list, PR Week's "40 Under 40" List, is a regular lecturer at universities and conferences, a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and a board member of numerous non-profit organizations.

Neil Alumkal,
Senior Vice President, Consumer
Neil Alumkal is one of the early founding members of the agency, having joined 5W Public Relations in 2004. He serves as Senior Vice President and Consumer Group Director and brings over 10 years of experience to the agency. He is responsible for creating and implementing communications plans for a myriad of consumer brands including Evian Natural Spring Water, Loews Regency, 1800 Tequila, LifeStyles and the Patina Restaurant Group, among many others.
Previously, he had managed media campaigns for a variety of clients, including Hyatt Hotels, Loews Cineplex, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, Bang & Olufsen and Mobil Travel Guide, for which he was awarded the Golden Bell public relations award. Neil also enjoyed a stint as a producer for ABC's Good Morning America.
Recently, he created a non-traditional media campaign for 5W client which was ranked as one of the all-time "Top 10 Successful Marketing Stunts" by Entrepreneur magazine.
Neil graduated from New York University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in film and video.

of PR professionals who handle
issues of current public debate,

financial, and philanthropy
related matters.
Prior to joining 5W, he served
as the American Jewish Congress’
Chief Communications Officer
where he established himself
as a key player in building
the stature of the 87 year old
agency. Beyond that, he was
a VP at Rubenstein Associates,
a New York based PR firm, where
he handled accounts spanning
foreign governments, entertainment,
non profits, healthcare and
medical research clients. Initially
serving as an executive assistant
and assistant press secretary
to H. Carl McCall, the New York
State Comptroller, he handled
media and communications matters,
and was part of the campaign
process that saw the first ever
NY Statewide elected African
American elected two times.

Steve Hoechster,

Steve Hoechster as Senior Vice President of 5WPR's Corporate & Technology Marketing practice, applies more than 20 years experience to clients to solve a wide range of complex strategic challenges with inventive, effective communications and marketing initiatives. His business segment experience includes: automotive, chemicals, computers, consumer products, electronics, energy, financial services, health care, industrial systems, media, online marketing and services, professional services, semiconductors, software, specialty materials, and telecommunications. In the course of his career, Steve has worked with bootstrapping start-ups, emerging growth companies, industry icons.
He has devised and managed award-winning corporate marketing, advertising and public relations programs for companies such as Apple, AT&T Wireless, BMW, EDS, Fujifilm, General Electric, IBM, Ingersoll-Rand, Morton International, MCI, NCR, Samsung, Symantec, Sony, Washington Post Digital and Yahoo!. In addition, he has managed communications for CEO positioning/transitions, earnings announcements, M&As, IPOs and other material matters for several companies. In addition, Steve has managed crisis situations involving product recalls, industrial accidents, employee/labor issues and litigation.
Prior to joining 5WPR, Steve managed the Corporate & Technology practice of Euro RSCG Worldwide PR. Steve also served as Vice President of Corporate Marketing & Communications at Qwest Communications International, where he devised and directed the communications strategy for the company's hostile take-over of USWest. Previous to that he was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Edelman's Technology practice, where, among other things he oversaw the re-launch and re-listing of NCR, directing a corporate branding effort conducted in 16 countries around the globe.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Journalism, with honors, from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and did post-graduate work in Marketing at SUNY-Albany.

Brown’s career began in journalism
covering music, entertainment
and events; soon thereafter,
she began coordinating and producing
events for the fashion and entertainment
industries. Her proven track

between clients and media, showcases
her diversity and lays as the

Clint Cantwell serves as a Vice

With 15 years expertise in media
relations and corporate communications,
Cantwell is well versed in developing
and executing broad reaching
public relations campaigns in
a variety of industries, including
fashion, publishing, multimedia,

Cantwell spent several years
as Director of Corporate Communications
for Marc Ecko Enterprises (MEE),
a $1.6 billion apparel and youth
lifestyle company, overseeing

properties under the Marc Ecko
Enterprises' umbrella. Previously,
Cantwell served as Vice President

Michael Mahle, Vice President
Michael Mahle serves as Vice President and is responsible for 5W's diverse food, restaurant and hospitality practice. Formerly Zagat Survey's in-house manager of corporate communications, Mahle brings to 5WPR and its clients a wealth of public relations and food service experience. In addition to a decade of public/media relations experience, Mahle received highest honors and a degree in Culinary Management from the Institute of Culinary Education (I.C.E.) in New York, has worked in both the FOH and BOH of restaurants for many years.
His ability to develop highly visible communications programs include getting the Empire State Building to change its lights to blue and white for National Diabetes Awareness Month, obtaining high-profile interviews and Q&As in top-tier publications, ghost-writing OpEds for the New York Times and more.

Erika McGlone, Vice President, Consumer Division
Erika McGlone joined 5WPR in 2003 and serves as Vice President within the Consumer division that represents a collection of consumer products including AHAVA skincare and Hint Water. At 5W, Erika developed as well as managed several integrated PR/Marketing programs for clients ranging from small businesses such as private practice physicians to mainstream brands such as Barnes and Noble.
McGlone previously held positions at the Susan Magrino Agency and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She has a broad range of consumer experience that runs the gamut from beauty & wellness products and beverages to home goods and luxury lifestyle companies. Her career in public relations has yielded brand building results for a diverse range of well-recognized brands including Martha Stewart Living, The Peninsula Hotels, One&Only Resorts and Grolsch Beer.
