How we measure what AI recommends.
The 5W AI Visibility Index and the 5W AI Sentiment Index are researched and published by 5WPR on a fixed 14-day cycle. Everything below is published so the numbers can be argued with — the prompts, the engines, the sources and the maths.

Scoring
Visibility
Citation share is the percentage of measured answers in an industry that named the brand. Brands never named are excluded, not scored zero.
Sentiment
Net sentiment is the share of positive minus the share of negative reviews in the collected review text for this edition, on a −100…+100 scale. Every score is computed from stored review text; nothing is estimated.

Limits worth knowing
- AI answers vary between runs; we repeat every prompt and average rather than screenshot a single response.
- An index measures a category, not a company's whole reputation. A brand outside the ranked set is not necessarily invisible.
- Review text is summarised, never republished in full, and volumes reflect what was publicly available on the run date.
- Brands can be excluded for the edition — duplicate listings, insufficient volume or an ongoing data dispute. Exclusions are published with each edition.
