Nicholas Koulermos is a Senior Vice President within 5W's Corporate Practice. With over 12 years of experience in policy, public affairs and public relations, Nicholas leads teams specializing in corporate communications and media relations.
Nicholas has a wide range of industry experience, including in B2B and B2B2C verticals across fintech and financial services, healthcare, real estate, cannabis, SaaS technologies, M&A, legal, industry associations, agriculture and food. Currently, Nicholas and his team manage strategic communications and campaigns for industry leading tech clients such as eMoney Advisor, as well as prominent entrepreneurs including former Blue Apron Co-Founder, Matthew Wadiak, and former CEO of Apple, John Sculley. Since joining the firm in 2015, Nicholas has brought passion and energy to his team and clients.
Prior to his role at 5W, Nicholas served as a Public Affairs Consultant at bmgzstrategies and as a Policy Specialist for the U.S. Department of Education - leading public affairs and communications efforts for both agencies. Nicholas also served as a Project Coordinator for the Mayor's Office of Chicago and was a Public Affairs Officer for a Member of Parliament at the European Union. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political science, a degree in International Affairs, and a degree in Environmental Science from DePaul University in Chicago.
