Here’s what you need to know what know about the most trend-obsessed generation in history:

Gen Z Slang

Gen Z Slang is actually pretty spot on, check out some of their word creations!

  • Delulu - Short for “delusional” but used flippantly or often times when someone is acting a bit crazy.
  • Brain isn’t braining - When your brain simply does not want to work as it should.
  • Nyming - Short for the word “acronyming”, this is when you would acronym a phrase instead of typing it out. An example would be instead of saying “trying to think,” you would say “TTT” instead.

TikTok Trends on the Rise 📱

Gen Z’ers aren’t alone in their love for TikTok, but here are some of the TikTok Trends on the Rise thanks to their viewing patterns and behavior…

  • “Me and the Devil” - Music first, then show themselves and then something that is their “devil”, aka a bad habit, something they’re addicted to.
  •  “Call me crazy if you want but I’ve never liked store bought pesto” - Users tell a crazy story in their life by stitching the beginning of a viral video which starts with “call me crazy if you  want but I’ve never liked store bought pesto” and respond by saying a version of “oh wow, that’s crazy, but one time…” and then launch into their own story, which is now also referred to as a “crazy pesto story”.
