Amanda Garland is Executive Vice President of 5W's Technology practice at 5W. A seasoned communications professional, Amanda has more than 15 years of experience, both in agency settings and in-house.

With a demonstrated history of successfully managing media relations, consumer facing campaigns, brand strategy, celebrity relations and large scale events, Amanda has led clients ranging from big box retailers to boutique startup companies across tech, consumer, lifestyle, wellness, fashion + beauty and food + beverage verticals. Self-motivated and knowledgeable in the industry landscape, Amanda regularly identifies relevant story angles and thought leadership opportunities, resulting in features on The TODAY Show, The New York Times and Business Insider to People, Refinery29 and Vogue. Amanda's acute understanding of strategy and brand building have allowed her to engage both clients and consumers while consistently driving results. She also facilitates media trainings on behalf of the agency, ensuring clients are prepared for opportunities as presented by the team.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Connecticut. She grew up in CT and currently resides in Manhattan.
